Guava Jelly

Ingredients
  

  • 4 litres Red Cherry Guava
  • 1 litre Water
  • 1 kg Sugar

Method
 

  1. To every 4 litres of red cherry guava add 1 litre of water
  2. Boil 10 minutes
  3. Tip boiled fruit into muslin bag or pillowcase and suspend
  4. Strain for 10 hours - DO NOT SQUEEZE
  5. To every litre of juice add 1 kg of sugar
  6. Bring to boil until it forms a gel
  7. Bottle in hot sterilised jars and seal
