Guava Jelly

Ingredients
  

  • 4 litres Red Cherry Guava
  • 1 litre Water
  • 1 kg Sugar

Instructions
 

  • To every 4 litres of red cherry guava add 1 litre of water
  • Boil 10 minutes
  • Tip boiled fruit into muslin bag or pillowcase and suspend
  • Strain for 10 hours - DO NOT SQUEEZE
  • To every litre of juice add 1 kg of sugar
  • Bring to boil until it forms a gel
  • Bottle in hot sterilised jars and seal
