
Marmalade
Make it your way with your choice of citrus fruit. Marmalade is a breakfast classic.
Ingredients
Method
- Wash fruit. Halve, then slice thinly.
- Place in a glass bowl and cover with water. Stand 24 hours.
- In a heavy based saucepan bring fruit and water to a boil. Reduce heat to a low simmer and simmer for 1 hour or until fruit is soft.
- Add sugar and continue to cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Bring to boil and boil uncovered for 15 minutes.
- Turn off heat and stand 5 for 5 minutes.
- Place in hot sterile jars and seal with hot sterile lids.
