Awesome recipe that leaves cucumbers crunchy!

Bread and Butter Pickles
Ingredients
- 15 cups Cucumbers Sliced 1cm thick
- 3 Onions Thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup Salt
- 5 cups Ice
- 2 1/2 cups Apple Cider Vinegar
- 2 1/2 cups Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon Celery Seeds
- 1 heaped teaspoon Mustard Seed
Instructions
- Combine cucumbers, onions, salt and ice in a large bowl. Mix well
- Stand for three hours
- Rinse and drain
- Combine vinegar, sugar and spices in a large pot.
- Add cucumber/onion mix
- Place on low heat, bring up to almost boiling point but DO NOT boil
- Remove from heat
- Seal in sterile jars
